A beautiful hologram is an interface idea. The useful invention is what happens behind it: finding a shape, tracing an observation, solving a constraint, comparing alternatives, or explaining a decision.
WHAT THE ARTISTS ACTUALLY DID
Territory’s Age of Ultron case study describes different research and visual identities for Stark’s engineering, Banner’s biology and Cho’s bioengineering. That is the useful lesson for this portfolio: each project should look like the subject it helps someone understand.
Sony Imageworks documents geometry-based linework, halftoning, hatching, print-inspired registration, stepped animation and drawn effects. Here, those ideas become readable edges, meaningful marks and brief response accents. Pointer input and scientific time remain continuous.
Territory also used photographed organic material and optical experimentation in Blade Runner 2049. A texture can be beautiful without being a scientific measurement; our labels keep that distinction visible.

The current interface uses a local Node service or a labeled browser fallback. Python adapters, a Step Functions definition, and CloudFormation source exist separately. They have been checked with synthetic responses; they have not executed on AWS.
The next milestone is one connected document workflow with real extraction evidence, persistent review history, and verified tenant isolation.

The portfolio remains directly usable in a browser. MuJoCo’s official WASM bindings, Manifold and Mol* offer credible browser paths for future instruments. JAX FDM and Mitsuba need a different execution path: a local or hosted scientific job, with actual progress, cancellation and downloadable results.
Unreal can provide a separate spatial presentation once a model and interaction have earned it. It does not replace an equilibrium solver, a dataset’s provenance or a useful task. No new native Unreal scene or remotely streamed engine is claimed by this rebuild.
